What You'll Do

  • Conduct cycle counts and project adjustment to assist Inventory management processes
  • Count portions of inventory daily
  • Maintain inventory accuracy metrics and associated reports for management
  • Monthly inventory counts and checks for maintaining all inventory. There will be significant interaction with SAP in this area
  • Open cycle counts for inventory process
  • Perform weekly inventory analysis based on current production/shipping/and forecasts
  • Receive all inbound loads for inventory and place in correct bins
  • Receive all incoming loads for inventory daily
  • Research inventory discrepancies and make necessary corrections
  • Understand inventory processes, warehouse locations, and bin layouts
  • Verify inventory
  • Work with shipping department, check inventory levels, stack locations and potential saw orders to expedite loading process

What You'll Need

  • Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs/ladders, work at heights, extreme heat, and wear respirator
  • Ability to wear required PPE for the Melt Shop
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred

Your Education

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
