Why This Job
Tensar, a division of CMC, is seeking an individual to become a member of our growing app development team. The Software Engineer – Web Developer is responsible to develops elegant, engaging, and responsive user Interfaces. Primary responsibilities are to understand and size design requirements, participate in UI solutioning, perform coding and unit testing, and resolve technical issues. Ideal candidate has a solid understanding of usability and best practices, maintains cutting edge skills, and develops using best practices and conventions.
We are looking for someone who loves challenging projects and seeing them coming to fruition. It is required to have a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality through execution. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing front and back-end solutions on a cloud platform.
What You'll Do
- Experience working with JavaScript, React.js, react-rounder, Redux, NodeJS, HTML5, and CSS3
- Solid understanding of HTTP protocols, AJAX, and REST
- Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, Azure Function
- Proven ability to write and execute T-SQL queries
- Experience with responsive design and responsive UI frameworks
- Experience with React Native, Swift C, Java, C#, Sequelize, and Electron is a plus
- Experience bringing products from conception to implementation, including defining and communicating specifications, managing resources, leading cross-functional teams, and product launch
What You'll Need
- Must be able to verify and reconcile data for accuracy and consistency
- Able to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Consolidate and produce technical documentation specifid to the area of specialization for each corresponding project
- Provide support to major maintenance fixes and chnages on existing applications
Your Education
- Bachelor's Degree
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related discipline with an IT focus is preferred
