Why This Job

The Inside Sales Representative will achieve sales targets through lead generation, Civil Engineering technical evaluation and sales opportunity development activities.  You will engage stakeholders and bring a technical solution to them.  You will be involved in making prospective outreach and establishing & maintaining strong relationships with project stakeholders and Distribution Partners, tracking construction projects and coordination field and marketing activities, using data, technology & information systems to develop new business.

What You'll Do

  • Directs the lead generation team to ensure they are identifying enough of the right project leads for achieving sales targets.
  • Perform construction drawing take offs and run provisional Tensar+ evaluations to identify value creation potential, including preparing and presenting Value Engineering (VE) proposals to potential clients.
  • Helps field sales maintain account & contact information accuracy in CRM system, including finding, adding and keeping account and contact information current and accurate, includes merging duplicate accounts.
  • Responsible for generating sales leads, managing and tracking key projects and communicating project status via monthly reports
  • Takes proactive action with RSMs on each opportunity as necessary, interacting with key stakeholders; including project participants, RSMs, AD’s, AE’s or distribution partners to meet the needs of the project and secure a successful sales outcome.
  • Expands sales network via outreach and digital engagement, including phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Attend sales meetings, training and activities; to include performing additional duties as needed
  • Demonstrate all phases of the sales cycle, including prospecting, acquiring, identifying and qualifying customers
  • Develop and monitor KPI and ROI measures demonstrating marketing output and campaign efficacy using data from CRM, marketing automation, sales and web analytics
  • Maintain sales volume and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
  • Develop new business; source leads and referrals
  • Makes outreach to established contacts, accounts, field sales personnel or distribution partners and looks to leverage their network to identify or engage key project stakeholders or bidders of project leads.
  • Performs research and makes recommendations of contact lead targets to RSM/Distribution/Marketing for outreach programs/education events/software pushes/enrolment to nurturing programs.
  • Tracks, sets reminders and follows up on key project activities at key times, including ensuring that field sales activities are coordinated and completed.
  • Close opportunities/activities in CRM when requested, updating won/loss and reasons lost
  • Help identify & create project profiles/case studies from won opportunities. Pass information over to marketing for publishing and provide project information and pics uploading to project maps.
  • Demonstrate ability to create and manage business opportunities resulting in successful engineering and sales strategies
  • Develop and execute a strategic plans to reach sales targets

Your Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Or Industry experience equivalence
