Why This Job

The Inside Sales Representative will achieve sales targets through leadgeneration, Civil Engineering technical evaluation and sales opportunitydevelopment activities. You will engage stakeholders and bring a technicalsolution to them. You will be involved in making prospective outreach andestablishing & maintaining strong relationships with project stakeholders andDistribution Partners, tracking construction projects and coordination field andmarketing activities, using data, technology & information systems to develop newbusiness.

What You'll Do

  • Develop new business; source leads and referrals
  • Build and Maintain Customer Relationships – earning their trust and preference by meeting their needs
  • Demonstrate all phases of the sales cycle, including prospecting, acquiring, identifying and qualifying customers
  • Directs the lead generation team to ensure they are identifying enough of the right project leads for achieving sales targets.
  • Evaluate complex project requirements and suggest potential value engineering ideas
  • Helps field sales maintain account & contact information accuracy in CRM system, including finding, adding and keeping account and contact information current and accurate, includes merging duplicate accounts.
  • Perform construction drawing take offs and run provisional Tensar+ evaluations to identify value creation potential, including preparing and presenting Value Engineering (VE) proposals to potential clients.
  • Responsible for generating sales leads, managing and tracking key projects and communicating project status via monthly reports
  • Takes proactive action with RSMs on each opportunity as necessary, interacting with key stakeholders; including project participants, RSMs, AD’s, AE’s or distribution partners to meet the needs of the project and secure a successful sales outcome.
  • Expands sales network via outreach and digital engagement, including phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Attend Sales meetings, trainings, and activities as required
  • Close opportunities/activities in CRM when requested, updating won/loss and reasons lost
  • Develop and execute a strategic plans to reach sales targets

What You'll Need

  • Strong client facing skills with a consultative mindset and ability to effectively problem solve
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, highly motivated, and a self-starter
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management and employees across the organization
  • Ability to read and comprehend construction specifications and drawings drafting experience
  • Strategic acumen – the ability to think and act strategically to sell work
  • Basic computer skills such as familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required

Your Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Or Industry experience equivalence
