What You'll Do

Assist with testing, developing, and installation of sensors and monitoring systems in a lab or field test site
Write and test software to acquire and analyze data from sensors, operation of systems and communicate results
Remotely monitor field test sites to retrieve, analyze, and report data
Identify, evaluate, and recommend cost saving opportunities by identifying process, quality and safety related improvement projects
Cross-train through the department to learn hands-on skills related to industrial/engineering technologies
Work with leadership on ways to improve & sustain processes

What You'll Need

Must be at least 18 years old
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with an aptitude of problem solving
Strong analytical and statistical skills
Able to work independently, take initiative and drive for results with minimal supervision
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, highly motivated, and a self-starter
Able to work in a team environment
Experience with general data tools such as Alteryx, Python and WinShuttle is very beneficial
Presentation/Report on an improvement project at the end of internship

Your Education

Currently pursuing Bachelor of Science in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
