Be an integral part of the Account Based Sales Team! serve as the lead point of contact for our customers to include Kiewit, RES Americas and Granite Construction. Expand Tensar business opportunities by bringing high level knowledge, service, insights, relationships, and strategies to enhance our value proposition and achieve optimal access for Tensar’s products and technologies within these important Accounts.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships to drive results
  • Continually monitor the sales forecasts against the master production plan, material availability, and lead time
  • Locate and explore new customer and product business opportunities
  • Apply external perspective and maintain knowledge of the segment’s competitive environment, market conditions, customers, and profit drivers
  • Develop deep market knowledge to help direct company strategy in existing products as well as new products
  • Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a deal, resulting in the taking of market share from competitors
  • Interface with customers as needed for product development or customer concern resolution
  • Generate monthly reports to the Area Sales Manager to track key projects in each sector and forecast sales for manufacturing
  • Participate in industry organizations, trade shows and other events

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 5 years in an Outside Sales role
  • Interface with customers as needed for product development or customer concern resolution
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
  • Demonstrate ability to create and manage business opportunities resulting in successful engineering and sales strategies
  • Ability to build interpersonal relationships and work through resources to accomplish objectives required
  • SAP ERP – Execute technical sales processes
  • Superior organizational & negotiating skills with sound financial skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with a variety of employees at all levels of the organization with the ability to influence actions of others

Your Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience preferred
  • Advanced Degree (MBA or MS) preferred
