What You'll Do

  • Able and willing to cross train as required
  • Able to perform maintenance/repair at heights or adverse conditions safely including adhering to and following LOTO procedures
  • Attend extensive training regarding applicable equipment
  • Attend training regarding applicable equipment
  • Coordinate projects and extensive maintenance with vendors/contractors while minimizing the impact on productivity
  • Effectively monitor and inspect equipment for defects
  • Familiarity with electrical maintenance/repair and ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and components
  • Knowledge and skills of maintenance on mobile equipment and machines
  • Maintain and repair shop machinery and/or mechanical equipment to include overhead cranes, shears, benders, threaders, forges, induction heaters, and welders
  • Maintain good general housekeeping, keeping clean equipment and work area. Keep all tools in good working condition
  • Maintain mobile equipment, cranes, bearings, power transmission, hydraulics/pneumatics, fluid pumping systems and welding principles/rigging
  • Mentor and train other maintenance team members
  • Modify, repair and install all types of machinery and mechanical equipment while observing all applicable CMC Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
  • Perform additional duties as needed

What You'll Need

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, layout projects, locate prints and use maintenance technical manuals
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced continually changing environment
  • Able to read technical documents and service manuals, write clearly
  • Both mechanically and electrically inclined with experience working in both areas
  • Experienced with industrial electrical repairs including troubleshooting and repair of electrical valves and switches, A/C - D/C drives and motors, PLC's and 480 Volt 3 phase electrical
  • Experience servicing and repairing industrial equipment
  • Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies, rules, and regulations
  • Minimum 2 years preferably in a heavy industrial environment
  • Possess a strong work ethic and practice safe working habits

Your Education

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
