What You'll Do
- Lead the promotion and acceptance of TIC proprietary systems
- Review constructability constraints and identify value engineering opportunities
- Develop and execute an annual business plan for the promotion and sale of Tensar Solutions
- Train, educate and provide technical support internally
- Work with Technology and Product Marketing to facilitate field testing and validation and communicate new information up and down the organization
- Develop and execute a business development plan focused on Government agencies, Geotechnical Engineers and Key National accounts
- Provide project site assessment and assistance as required
- Communication of local competitive specification activities to the Area Sales Director on an ongoing basis
- Populate project pipeline database with new specified projects in coordination with the Business Development team
- Review project pipeline database and coordinate efforts with Regional Sales Managers to close key project opportunities
- Coordinate interaction between our engineering department and the client to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of Tensar engineering services and systems
- Active participation in relevant industry associations, boards, committees, etc.
What You'll Need
- Minimum 5 years’ work experience as a Civil Engineer in the construction industry
- Ability to travel regionally between 25% - 50% of the time
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
- Highly self-motivated and an excellent team player
- Strong scheduling, planning, organizing, problem solving, time managing, and prioritizing work skills
Your Education
- Bachelors in Civil Engineering Required
- Professional Licensure (P.E.) required
