What You'll Do

Review construction plans, drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed estimates.
Perform quantity takeoffs and calculations to ensure accurate material, labor, and equipment costs.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to verify feasibility, pricing, and delivery timelines.
Prepare quotes, submittals, and bid documentation in accordance with company standards.
Maintain organized records of all estimates, quotes, and historical cost data.
Communicate effectively with the sales team to clarify project requirements and provide technical support.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency in project proposals.
Track and report on project bid status and opportunities to the Estimating Manager.
Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and procedures.

What You'll Need

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to read, interpret, and understand construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP, CRM, and estimating software preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
1-3 years of estimating experience in construction, precast, or manufacturing industries.
Must have a valid driver’s license.

Your Education

High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
