What You'll Do

  • Supervise daily production operations and employees in a precast concrete manufacturing facility
  • Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and production schedules to meet production goals and customer deadlines
  • Ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards and specifications
  • Monitor workflow and production performance, making adjustments as needed to maximize productivity and minimize downtime
  • Oversee the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment and facilities, working with maintenance to address issues and reduce downtime
  • Train, coach, and develop employees while providing ongoing performance feedback
  • Promote and enforce company safety policies and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and incident investigations as needed
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve production issues and achieve plant objectives
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records related to production, attendance, safety, and employee performance
  • Promote organization, housekeeping, and efficient use of plant equipment and resources

What You'll Need

  • 3-5 years of supervisory or lead experience in a concrete manufacturing environment required
  • ACI Level I Field Testing Technician and Concrete Batch Plant Operator certifications preferred
  • Knowledge of concrete manufacturing processes, industrial equipment, quality systems, and workplace safety practices
  • Strong leadership, communication, team building, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing production demands
  • Ability to read production schedules, work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems
  • Working knowledge of applicable safety, environmental, and employment regulations, with a demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and quality
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed, and perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing environment, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Your Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
