What You'll Do
- Responsible for maintaining and promoting a safe work environment for all employees & customers
- Lead and direct daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory, dispatching, and logistics coordination
- Develop and implement warehouse strategies aligned with production goals, safety standards, and customer service requirements
- Set performance expectations, monitor KPIs, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput, space utilization, and accuracy
- Champion a culture of safety across all warehouse operations
- Oversee the implementation of OSHA regulations and company safety programs
- Conduct regular safety audits, lead root cause investigations, and ensure corrective actions are executed effectively
- Partner with EHS teams to deliver ongoing safety training and emergency preparedness
- Oversee the usage, maintenance, and repair scheduling for warehouse equipment, including forklifts
- Monitor machine downtime trends and partner with maintenance teams to drive proactive repairs and capital planning
- Ensure all operational equipment complies with safety and regulatory standards
- Direct inbound and outbound logistics, including vendor delivery coordination and finished goods shipping
- Manage dispatch operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries that support production and customer timelines
- Collaborate with internal and external carriers to improve service levels and resolve delivery issues
- Lead all inventory management efforts, including cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes
- Implement robust inventory control systems and tracking methods to minimize shrinkage and maximize accuracy
- Partner with procurement and planning teams to align inventory levels with production forecasts and capacity
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of progressive warehouse or manufacturing logistics leadership experience, including team management
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations, inventory control practices, and transportation logistics
- Proven ability to manage warehouse technology systems (WMS, ERP, Kronos)
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is a plus
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in uncontrolled climate environment and in the elements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Your Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field strongly preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
