What You'll Do
- Implements mechanical design and coordination work as required
- Responsible for the preparation and execution to the project budget, scheduling and approving expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective action when necessary, problem solving, root cause analysis, and failure mode
- Assist in maintaining and improving process systems, including programmable logic controllers, process communications networks, and human machine interface equipment.
- Interact with technical engineers and non-technical operations personnel to integrate new technologies and update existing systems
- Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Provide technical support regarding plant equipment, process efficiency, and plant wide safety
- Willing to learn; enjoys tackling new challenges
What You'll Need
- Possess knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the industrial field
- Must be able to learn quickly, multitask and utilize time wisely
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical prints and diagrams
- Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint; Proficient with AutoCAD 2016 or later
- Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces
- Ability to work flexible hours and be available as needed by the business
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs/ladders, work at heights, extreme heat, and wear respirator
Your Education
- Bachelor's degree required
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
