What You'll Do

Promote safe work environments through example; good housekeeping & effective safety meetings
Train and cross train team members
Communicate important shift information, production issues, concerns and needs with proper personnel
Motivate team members
Kronos timekeeping if shift manager is not available
Routine equipment care inspections are completed
Oversee the processing of steel with high regards given to safety, quality & efficiency
Keep accurate QMOS information
Promote respect and dignity of the individuals
Meet or exceed customer requirements
Attend required meetings
Troubleshoot and maintain equipment
Develop team and effective team building
Complete required paperwork

What You'll Need

Basic computer skills
Ability to work rotating shifts which include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Some overtime will be required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment with strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Must be able to learn quickly and multitask
Ability to work in extreme heat

Your Education

High School Diploma or GED required
