What You'll Do

  • Ensure an environment of continuous improvement is maintained and work closely with other CMC counterparts to identify areas of improvement
  • Coordinate and supervise material receiving, documentation, storage, inventory control, disbursement and off-site shipping activities
  • Supervises, trains and cross-trains all employees so that they can safely perform their duties
  • Assist with the supervision of equipment and Shipping and Inventory activities throughout the shift
  • Communicate daily activities through shift reports and/or morning meetings
  • Maintain and turn in all daily and monthly reports required by management
  • Hold employees accountable for results and effectively convey to associates what is expected of them
  • Responsible for meeting and/or exceeding customer expectations; on-time performance, customer satisfaction/service, cost controls
  • Communicate with management staff and maintain familiarity with customers expectations

What You'll Need

  • Demonstrate leadership skills and provide coaching, skills development, guidance and support to team members
  • Knowledge of Shipping and Inventory processes
  • Direct and coordinate activities to include: safety, quality, production, shipping/receiving, planning/scheduling, and training
  • Effective skills in communication, motivation, performance evaluation and customer service
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritizing, and time management skills

Your Education

  • A combination of formal education and/or directly related work experience may substitute for the degree.
