What You'll Do

Cross-train through the department to learn hands-on skills related to industrial/engineering technologies
Work with leadership on ways to improve & sustain processes
Work on assigned projects with the supervision of a mentor and/or supervisor
Presentation/Report on an improvement project at the end of internship
Partner directly with leaders in various departments to optimize site safety processes
Coach and train employees on health and safety requirements
Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture

What You'll Need

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work in teams and to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
Presentation/Report on an improvement project at the end of internship
Must meet CMC attendance standards
Ability to apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify and research resolution to issues and trends with transactions
Able to work independently, take initiative and drive for results with minimal supervision
Must be at least 18 years old
Possess an interest in working in manufacturing safety
Basic knowledge of OSHA General Industry Regulations required

Your Education

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program
