What You'll Do

  • Cross-train through the department to learn hands-on skills related to industrial/engineering technologies
  • Work with leadership on ways to improve & sustain processes
  • Work on assigned projects with the supervision of a mentor and/or supervisor
  • Presentation/Report on an improvement project at the end of internship
  • Partner directly with leaders in various departments to optimize site safety processes
  • Coach and train employees on health and safety requirements
  • Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture

What You'll Need

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work in teams and to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Presentation/Report on an improvement project at the end of internship
  • Must meet CMC attendance standards
  • Ability to apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify and research resolution to issues and trends with transactions
  • Able to work independently, take initiative and drive for results with minimal supervision
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Possess an interest in working in manufacturing safety
  • Basic knowledge of OSHA General Industry Regulations required

Your Education

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program
