What You'll Do

  • Develop detailed CAD drawings and models for concrete pipe and precast products based on project requirements.
  • Interpret project plans, specifications, and codes to produce accurate and functional designs.
  • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and clients to clarify design needs and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing bills of materials and other technical documentation.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to company standards, industry regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Review and revise designs to incorporate feedback or changes as needed.
  • Support the production team with technical guidance and resolve design-related issues during manufacturing.
  • Maintain accurate records of design files and project documentation.
  • Stay updated on advancements in design software, tools, and industry trends. 

What You'll Need

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
  • Working knowledge of ERP/inventory control software, preferably Titan.
  • Understanding of precast concrete design, production methods, and industry standards. 

Your Education

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering technology, drafting, or a related field preferred.
