Be an integral part of the Geopier Sales Team! The Area Manager is responsible the overall commercial, technical design & support, and promotional performance of for Geopier’s Rammed Aggregate Pier systems. Develop and implement Area business plans that encompass annual corporate initiatives for new products/applications introductions and promotion and technical sales performance goals. What You'll Do
- Complete management of a territory. Establishment of goals and objectives for volumes, profitability and strategies to achieve
- Lead, guide, direct and evaluate a regional team of direct reports; many who are remote
- Develop cost effective geotechnical solutions using proprietary technologies including Rammed Aggregate Pier systems for project teams
- Develop annual goals and strategic initiatives that are measurable and accountable
- Assist Region Engineers with design, technical, marketing, and sales efforts
- Review and approve Rammed Aggregate Pier (RAP) and other system designs
- Evaluate complex project requirements and suggest potential value engineering ideas
- Develop and deliver performance reviews and corrective action documentation
- Demonstrate all phases of the sales cycle, including prospecting, acquiring, identifying and qualifying customers
- Assist with preparation of bid proposals and bid pricing sheets
What You'll Need
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a geotechnical/structural engineering field
- Possess a strong understanding of soil mechanics and structural loading conditions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, highly motivated, and self-starter
- Strong business acumen, including industry, domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units
Your Education
- MS in Geotechnical Engineering preferred
- Bachelors in Civil Engineering Required
