Be an integral part of the Geopier Team! The Project Engineer is responsible performing Rammed Aggregate Pier® design reviews, technical calculations, assisting with Region Engineer management and supporting licensees. Responsibilities also include preparing conceptual and final Rammed Aggregate Pier designs, plans, and specifications from geotechnical data and structural loading conditions. What You'll Do

  • Assist Region Engineers with design, technical, marketing, and sales efforts
  • Collaborate with Area Managers to perform engineering analyses and prepare design reviews
  • Review and approve Rammed Aggregate Pier (RAP) and other system designs
  • Support Design Center review team by performing slope stability and other geotechnical analyses to prepare RAP designs
  • Participate in troubleshooting difficult projects

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a geotechnical/structural engineering field
  • Possess a strong understanding of soil mechanics and structural loading conditions
  • Experience reading and interpreting project documents and drawings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - articulate communicator, adept in both electronic and verbal communications, professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and drive issues, tasks and deliverables from concept to closure
  • Proficient level of computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
  • Professional Engineer license considered a plus

Your Education

  • Bachelors in Civil Engineering Required
  • MS in Geotechnical Engineering preferred
