What You'll Do

Develop a general knowledge with all Rolling Mill systems so as to recognize offset conditions and assist to implement corrective actions, changes or adjustments to maintain effective Rolling Mill operations
Maintain safe and reliable Rolling Mill systems while improving production rates, uptime efficiencies, yields, cost, and changeovers
Support the Melt Shop, Rolling Mill and other departments in projects designed to improve product quality, customer service excellence and performance
Assist department to meet Quality and KPI goals and requirements

What You'll Need

Minimum of 10 years industry/ mill knowledge. Steel mill knowledge preferred
Strong SAP aptitude
Strong computer skills required (good knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Strong communication Skills (verbal, written, listening) including ability to communicate effectively with all levels or organization
Strong mechanical aptitude and comfortable working in a multidiscipline environment
