What You'll Do

Weld, fabricate, repair, and modify metal forms, molds, and production equipment used in concrete pipe manufacturing
Build and repair forms, tooling, and other components needed to support production operations
Perform metal cutting, fitting, grinding, and fabrication using a variety of shop tools and equipment
Inspect forms and equipment for wear or damage and complete repairs as needed
Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and measurements to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly
Work with production and maintenance teams to address equipment and tooling issues
Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies and procedures
Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance safety, quality, and productivity

What You'll Need

1-3 years of welding, fabrication, or related industrial experience
Experience with welding, metal fabrication, and steel form repair techniques
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work orders
Ability to accurately read a tape measure, use measuring tools, and perform basic mathematical calculations
Experience using welding equipment, metal cutting torches, saws, grinders, and other fabrication tools
Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Demonstrated safe work habits and commitment to workplace safety
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Your Education

High School Diploma or GED required
Vocational Degree Preferred
