What You'll Do
- Serve as a technical resource for internal sales teams, engineers, contractors, and customers.
- Interpret construction plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements to recommend appropriate products.
- Provide product training and presentations to engineering firms, DOT personnel, municipal officials, distributors, and contractors.
- Assist customers with product selection, custom configurations, load calculations, and installation best practices.
- Promote company products through presentations, lunch-and-learns, trade shows, jobsite visits, and industry association meetings.
- Develop or assist with technical marketing materials, such as brochures, submittals, design guides, case studies, and project profiles.
- Monitor competitor products and market trends to identify opportunities and strategic positioning.
- Work alongside sales representatives to expand market share through technical engagement.
- Support project planning, bidding, and preconstruction efforts.
- Provide specification support to ensure company products are included in engineering plans.
- Participate in key account development by offering professional technical consultation.
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales, marketing, or product support required.
- Knowledge of precast concrete, RCP, stormwater systems, and relevant ASTM/AASHTO/DOT standards.
- Ability to read and interpret civil construction plans and specifications.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts to explain product capabilities to stakeholders.
- Skill in delivering presentations, training, and lunch‑and‑learns.
- Ability to troubleshoot installation or product‑related issues in the field.
- Strong relationship‑building and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using CRM or basic design/CAD tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects, travel, and deadlines.
Your Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience preferred
