What You'll Do

  • Partner with management and HR leaders to implement new initiatives and revise the organization structure as needed
  • Conduct investigations and formulate responses to government, legal or internally reported employee relations charges
  • Deliver and facilitate new hire orientation, management training programs, code of conduct training, and other training as necessary
  • Ensure positive employee relations and build the CMC culture based on our Guiding Principles
  • Ensure security of employee data by maintaining files and following record retention policies
  • Facilitate the compensation planning, performance assessment and employee development planning processes
  • Guide and participate in sourcing, screening, interviewing and selecting for key roles
  • Manage EEO Goals, and ensure all laws & regulations are implemented and followed
  • Monitor morale and employee engagement
  • Oversee implementation of CMC programs to comply with various governmental regulations dealing with EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA and other related Federal & State laws
  • Provide leaders with individual and team coaching to improve teamwork and personal effectiveness
  • Responsible for day-to-day transactions such as processing new hires and employee data changes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of information entered in the system
  • Work with management to execute career development and succession planning for employees
  • Able to manage teams and come up with solutions for any problems that may arise

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 5 years work experience required in human resources, preferably in Manufacturing or similar environment
  • Strong employee relations experience including conducting investigations
  • Ability to work a schedule outside of normal business hours as needed to support a 24/7 operation
  • High integrity, and ability to work well in a matrix organization
  • Knowledge of Human Resources field, including recruiting, employee relations, benefits, training, and compensation required
  • Ability to travel up to 20-40%, both locally and to the Corporate Office in Irving, TX
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Your Education

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required; focus in HR preferred
