What You'll Do
- Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts including NDAs, vendor agreements, service contracts, and supply agreements
- Where necessary, support or lead negotiations between business units and counterparties, and facilitate solutions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with business goals and compliance requirements
- Provide guidance on contractual terms and risk mitigation strategies
- Receive guidance from outside counsel as needed, applying sound judgment to balance legal advice with business needs
- Maintain contract templates and support continuous improvement of contract processes
- Ensure contracts are properly executed, stored, and tracked in accordance with company policy
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or procurement
- Demonstrated expertise in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and contract law principles
- Experience leveraging AI technologies
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Curious mindset with a passion for continuous learning
- Business-oriented thinker capable of understanding and helping shape business objectives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management systems
Your Education
- Bachelor’s degree required; JD or paralegal certification preferred
