What You'll Do
  • Responsible for the planning, creation, and distribution of branded communications through multiple channels for IT projects, IT programs, process changes, technology implementations, planned maintenance, or IT outages that affect end-users
  • Collaborates with IT project leads to integrate communication and change management activities into project plans
  • Assists IT teams by translating technical requirements into communications that are relevant and easily understood by all CMC employees
  • Ensures a structured methodology for internal communications planning, branding, and distribution
  • Use a creative approach of communicating to all levels of the organization from our corporate offices to the local plants
  • Develop and implement process and guidelines for content development and management
  • Enforces training quality standards through review, editing, and approvals of training materials and e-learning content
  • Maintain e-learning IT training catalog
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines
What You'll Need
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Corporate Communications preferably in an IT organization
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
  • The ability to translate technical messages into "everyday" terms for end-users
  • Ability to work effectively with, and clearly articulate messages to all levels in an organization
  • A detailed approach to quality work with a careful eye for editing
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office products, managing websites, and editing HTML emails
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
  • A full understanding of how people are affected by changes with technology and the ability to translate technical topics into easily understood and impactful training
  • Experience working with a corporate Learning Management System is a plus
  • Understanding of Global Communications techniques to enable messages to be easily received across cultures and languages worldwide
  • Industry certifications related to Communications a plus
Your Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communication strongly preferred; or equivalent relevant experience
