What You'll Do

  • Support the Director, Corporate Finance in developing financial strategies and aligning IT spend with corporate strategic objectives
  • Analyze financial performance of the IT department, identify trends, risks and opportunities and communicate actionable insights to leadership
  • Develop financial models to support decision-making for IT investments, including ROI and TCO analyses for new software, hardware and infrastructure projects
  • Provide in-depth plan and forecast to actual variance analysis, with a focus toward gap closure
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for the CIO, IT Senior Staff and other Senior Leadership
  • Lead the financial planning and forecasting processes for the IT department
  • Provide financial insights and accounting guidance to IT cost center owners to increase their financial acumen and drive financial stewardship
  • Partner with procurement and vendor management teams to ensure financial efficiency in IT contracts and vendor agreements
  • Identify opportunities with the IT finance team for the use of AI, automation tools or other process improvements and lead the implementation of the desired solutions
  • Ensure all financial practices comply with CMC policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring a strong control environment is in place
  • Support special projects as needed

What You'll Need

  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills, with ability to use analysis, judgment and logic to solve problems and make decisions
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and communicate financial data to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
  • Manage and prioritize multiple deadlines and meets them with quality and accuracy
  • Effectively collaborates with various teams to gather and analyze financial information
  • Can build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency MS Office and SAP or similar ERP system
  • Experience with SAP BPC, Alteryx or Anaplan is a plus
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in finance, accounting, or other related field, preferably with some experience in an IT or technology-driven environment

Your Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or other business related field
  • MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus
