Why This Job

We are currently seeking a Leasing Administrator for our Procurement Team!  The Leasing Administrator is responsible for all phases of lease administration for real estate and equipment lease agreements from lease initiation to lease maturity. The incumbent will work closely with internal and external customers to manage the relationship between bank lessors, equipment suppliers, landlords and CMC departments such as but not limited to Treasury, Legal, Operations, Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets. What You'll Do
  • Manages leases for all CMC locations from lease set-up to lease maturity
  • Works with Treasury department to plan and provide input on leasing strategy development
  • Works with capital expenditures planning groups to execute leasing strategy
  • Supports Fixed Assets department in establishing a record of leased assets
  • Advises Accounts Payable team for lease payments process
  • Support regional Financial Analysts in lease management efforts
  • Offer suggestions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Leasing Process
  • Identifies/evaluates issues at hand to make accurate and timely decisions
What You'll Need
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with one or more Procure to Pay areas
  • Knowledge of lease documents, lease language and interpretation
  • Good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and strong knowledge of current Lease Accounting Standards
  • General understanding of industrial / manufacturing industries
  • Proficiency with SAP and MS Office; especially with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Nakisa, lease accounting software, a plus
  • Strong data analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Organized with the ability to manage complex and detailed information
  • Ability to be thorough and precise when conducting research and be able to accurately share findings
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with others
  • Strong communication Skills (verbal, written, listening) including ability to communicate effectively with all levels or organization
  • Possess drive and commitment including high energy level to get it done right the first time
  • Accountability /takes responsibility for deliverables
Your Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting; or equivalent job experience required
