CMC is seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Network Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to support the organization’s infrastructure and business objectives. You will work hands on and closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure network solutions.

What You'll Do
- Architect, design, and implement robust network solutions using industry-leading technologies.
- Oversee the management and optimization of network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security
- Implement and maintain network security measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams OT, Operations, security, and other relevant teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of network services.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals, ensuring interactions are helpful, respectful, and courteous to facilitate successful troubleshooting
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network architecture, configurations, and processes. Generate regular reports on network performance and security.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in network technologies and best practices. Propose and implement improvements to enhance network efficiency and security.
- Manage relationships with network hardware and software vendors to ensure optimal performance and support.
- Lead network-related projects from conception through implementation, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior team members to foster their professional growth and development
- Develop and maintain security policies that align with zero trust architecture.
- Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by management to support the overall goals and objectives of the organization
What You'll Need
- Proven experience as a Network Architect or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of network architecture and design principles
- Hands-on experience with Cisco (Routing/Switching, Nexus, ACI, ISE), Checkpoint, F5, Cloudflare, Meraki, IT/OT Environments, and understanding of zero trust architecture (i.e. Zscaler).
- Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are a plus.
Your Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent work experience
