What You'll Do
- Partner with Talent Acquisition Team to smoothly transition candidates to new hires
- Facilitate the pre-employment process from start to finish, including initiating background checks, drug screens, physicals, and PATs
- Ensure all pre-employment items are successfully completed
- Discuss any concerns related to pre-employment items with the appropriate HR Business Partner
- Maintain open communication with hiring managers throughout the onboarding process
- Partner with hiring managers and Safety Department to coordinate new hire orientations
- Facilitate the HR new hire orientation with an exceptional experience by welcoming and acclimating new employees to CMC
- Ensure the accurate completion of all new hire paperwork, including I-9s
- Complete the onboarding and hiring of new employees into CMC's HR database (Employee Central)
- Partner with hiring managers to facilitate a smooth transition from orientation to their role
- Assist with New Hire Benefits Enrollment as needed
What You'll Need
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate attention to detail and organization skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel
- Motivated self-starter that can work effectively with minimal supervision
- 1 year experience preferred
Your Education
- Bachelors degree preferred.
