What You'll Do

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Team to smoothly transition candidates to new hires
  • Facilitate the pre-employment process from start to finish, including initiating background checks, drug screens, physicals, and PATs
  • Ensure all pre-employment items are successfully completed
  • Discuss any concerns related to pre-employment items with the appropriate HR Business Partner
  • Maintain open communication with hiring managers throughout the onboarding process
  • Partner with hiring managers and Safety Department to coordinate new hire orientations
  • Facilitate the HR new hire orientation with an exceptional experience by welcoming and acclimating new employees to CMC
  • Ensure the accurate completion of all new hire paperwork, including I-9s
  • Complete the onboarding and hiring of new employees into CMC's HR database (Employee Central)
  • Partner with hiring managers to facilitate a smooth transition from orientation to their role
  • Assist with New Hire Benefits Enrollment as needed

What You'll Need

  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and organization skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel
  • Motivated self-starter that can work effectively with minimal supervision
  • 1 year experience preferred

Your Education

  • Bachelor's degree required
