The Product Manager – Salesforce is a strategic, hands-on product leader responsible for shaping the vision, roadmap, and value delivery of Salesforce capabilities across one or more Lines of Business (LOBs) and/or enterprise-wide initiatives. This role blends strategic product management with deep Salesforce platform fluency and strong delivery leadership—driving outcomes through discovery, prioritization, release governance, and measurable adoption.

This role is ideal for a product leader who can operate at both executive and delivery levels—translating business strategy into product direction, aligning stakeholders, and partnering with IT, business teams and third parties to deliver high-impact CRM capabilities.

What You'll Do

  • Evolve the Salesforce platform product vision and strategy based on business objectives, user feedback, and market context
  • Own and maintain a multi-release roadmap of features, functions, and enablement plans; drive consensus across stakeholders to prioritize high-value work
  • Establish and track product success metrics (adoption, cycle time, user experience, efficiency, quality) and use insights to refine roadmap decisions
  • Lead discovery with business leaders, end users, IT, and partners to define problems, outcomes, and MVP scope; translate into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable goals
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align business process, data requirements, security model, and user experience needs—especially in complex operating environments
  • Build business cases for major initiatives, including scope tradeoffs, risk, dependencies, and sequencing across teams and systems
  • Serve as the primary product counterpart to delivery teams—driving backlog health, prioritization, sprint planning, demos, and release readiness
  • Maintain a detailed product view (epics, stories, dependencies) and balance competing priorities while ensuring value is optimized across sprints and releases
  • Bring strong execution discipline to planning, testing, change management, and post-release stabilization
  • Communicate product updates, milestones, and roadmap progress across multiple channels; ensure stakeholders understand what is being released and why
  • Partner with enablement team to create training and rollout materials that drive sustained adoption and measurable outcomes
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels; drive decisions and alignment across business and technical teams
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and translate them into use cases and roadmap investments
  • Drive continuous improvement. Monitor platform trends, evaluate new Salesforce capabilities/tools, and propose enhancements

  • 5+ years experience in product management, product ownership, business systems analysis, or Salesforce platform leadership with cross-functional delivery ownership
  • Demonstrated success owning product roadmaps and leading delivery from discovery through launch, including testing and release activities
  • Strong Salesforce platform knowledge across configuration, data, security, reporting, and automation; comfort partnering with technical teams on solution design
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize competing needs, and drive consensus with stakeholders
  • Salesforce certifications aligned to admin/business analysis (e.g., Admin, Advanced Admin, Business Analyst, Platform Builder)
  • Familiarity with Agile tooling (e.g., Jira/TFS/Agile Accelerator) and operating within Agile delivery cadences
  • Agile Certification (e.g. PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, Certified Scrum Master, ICAgile Certified Expert, AgilePM Foundation/Practitioner, etc.)
  • Experience with enterprise-scale environments (high user counts, complex security models, large data sets, multi-org/multi-environment operations)
  • Experience with other CRM and lead generation tools such as Dynamics, HubSpot
  • Experience with Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud; integration exposure including MuleSoft
  • Release management experience with tools/processes such as Copado and formal regression strategy
