Why This Job

SAP Controlling & Product Costing Lead is a key contributor and member of the IT Shared Services Team.  The SAP Lead will provide SAP support and deployment activities to the business and will be a key contributor to IT Cost Accounting configuration team. This person will be an expert in the SAP Controlling Module and the business processes that serves the specific business lines and functions.  The job requires a thorough understanding of end-to-end manufacturing process, product costing scenarios (e.g. Make-to-Order, Make-to-Stock, Repetitive Manufacturing with Material Ledger and Actual Costing), Project Systems (Capex and Revenue Projects) and SAP CO configuration. This person will have a detailed level of functional and technical knowledge of Controlling (CO) module and integration with Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Order to Cash (OTC), Project Systems (PS) and Profitability Analysis (COPA). What You'll Do

  • Gathers requirements from business users for support work, approved projects and enhancements to existing SAP configuration or objects
  • Performs design and writes specifications as needed for workflow, forms, reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements (WRICEF)
  • Performs unit tests and other tests as needed and works with end users on User Acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Works with Stakeholders and IT teams to ensure that requirements are properly configured in SAP and development objects perform as designed
  • Follows processes to ensure cohesive and detailed program specifications, creates quality configuration and objects matching specifications
  • Performs unit testing, creates appropriate documentation and provides the appropriate level of support after implementation
  • Partners with the business and other IT teams to provide innovative ideas to solve business or technological challenges

What You'll Need

  • 12+ years’ experience with SAP Controlling Modules (Product Costing, Project Systems and Profitability Analysis)
  • Detailed knowledge of Controlling module including knowledge of discrete & repetitive manufacturing processes (e.g. make to stock & make to order)
  • Detailed knowledge of variant configuration, material ledger, actual costing, transfer pricing & results analysis within the Controlling Module
  • 12+ years’ SAP experience as a project team member (ECC 6.0 / S/4 HANA)

Your Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in Information Sciences/Accounting or related field
