Why This Job

The SIOP Controller role is vital to CMC because it manages SIOP business rhythms and processes in the Integrated Business Planning System. The role is responsible for systems administration functions, managing master data like stock lists, locking approved forecasts throughout the month, and managing the “pencils down” process. This role is also responsible for fielding special ad hoc requests for reports beyond standard reports, preparing leadership for executive SIOP meetings, identifying plan gaps, conducting audits, and conducting root cause analysis.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the maintenance of existing SQL-based planning tools, ensuring their reliability and accuracy. Identify and implement enhancements to improve functionality and user experience.
  • Analyze current SIOP processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Develop and propose solutions to streamline operations, enhance data quality, and improve decision-making.
  • Manage stock lists, ensure meeting calendars are updated, liaison with IT on master data issues, ensure data consistency, and manage access to reports, data, and systems. Work with IT to resolve system issues.
  • Work closely with teams across sales, marketing, finance, IT, and operations to gather requirements, share insights, and implement process changes.
  • Help the team understand how and where to use reports and ad hoc analysis, identify new report requirements, and implement best practices.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to users of SIOP tools, ensuring they are equipped to utilize them effectively

What You'll Need

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or a related role, focusing on S&OP or supply chain planning.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL-based planning tools. Experience with SAP and SAP Business Warehouse reporting is desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of leading successful improvement initiatives
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc.

Your Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
