What You'll Do
- Full-Stack Cloud Development: Design and build cloud-native applications, microservices, and side-by-side extensions using CAP (Node.js/Java) and SAPUI5/Fiori Elements
- End-to-End Integration Design: Architect and implement complex enterprise integration patterns (EIP) using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) to connect SAP (S/4HANA/ECC) and non-SAP systems
- API Management & Governance: Design, publish, secure, and monitor enterprise APIs using SAP API Management, enforcing traffic policies and security protocols
- Event-Driven Architecture: Build real-time, asynchronous messaging solutions utilizing SAP Event Mesh, Advanced Event Mesh, or serverless configurations
- Data Modeling & Optimization: Implement robust cloud data models using SAP HANA Cloud (CDS modeling, HDI containers) and optimize performance tuning for HANA queries and CAP services
- Security & Access Governance: Enforce strict BTP security architectures using XSUAA, OAuth2, SAML, JWT, and configure IAS/IPS identity management integrations
- Technical Leadership & DevOps: Establish corporate integration standards, configure modern CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Azure DevOps), manage version control (Git/gCTS), and mentor junior developers
What You'll Need
- Senior Experience: 5+ years of IT development experience, with at least 3+ years focused exclusively on hands-on SAP BTP development and Integration Suite (CPI)
- Advanced Backend & Frameworks: Balanced expertise across CAP (Node.js or Java) development and SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) development
- Integration & Adapter Expertise: Proven experience configuring standard adapters (OData, SOAP, REST/HTTP, SFTP, IDoc) and building integrations across hybrid landscapes
- Data & Database Skills: Strong proficiency in SAP HANA Cloud modeling, including calculation views, CDS views, and database optimization
- UI & UX Development: Expertise in SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, and Launchpad/Work Zone services for building responsive, mobile-friendly frontend apps
- Tooling: Expert-level knowledge of SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and the SAP BTP Cockpit
- Containerization: Hands-on experience with Kyma (Kubernetes-based runtime), Docker, and managing containerized workloads
- Legacy Integration: Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and data replication tools like SDI, SDQ, or SLT
- ABAP Cloud: Experience with RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) or BTP ABAP environment (Steampunk)
- Automation: Familiarity with SAP Build (Apps, Process Automation) or AI/ML services on BTP
- Certification: Official SAP Certification in SAP Integration Suite or BTP Development
- Strong architectural mindset with the ability to act as a technical lead and collaborate with enterprise architects
- Excellent problem-solving skills for debugging distributed, asynchronous cloud architectures
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development frameworks
- Familiarity with S4 Public and Private cloud environments
Your Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field
