Responsibilities include leading, guiding and coordinating cross application/platform integration in support of on-time delivery of business projects and initiatives. In this capacity, the employee will focus on building/maintaining a trusted relationship with business, enhancing the existing IT solutions and creating a platform roadmap and strategy in coordination with the Infrastructure and Software Engineering teams. In addition, the employee will play a key role in CMC’s transition to the newest SAP platform, S/4 HANA.

What You'll Do

  • Play an important role with S4HANA program key decisions, planning and execution
  • Work with Project Managers and IT leadership to deliver strategic initiatives and products utilizing Agile project management methodologies
  • Be a trusted business advisor and liaison between business and IT in delivering strategic/special projects
  • Manage Integration Platform roadmap strategy; development and support standards, planning with Infrastructure and Software Engineering teams
  • Create a Data Integration framework as a reference guide for selecting integration method based on integration patterns
  • Architect and Implement data integration architecture not susceptible to Cyber and BOT threats
  • Manage priorities, coordinating cross-functional projects, assigning tasks, resolving issues/roadblocks
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives and department goals that are aligned with business objectives
  • Identify and work with contractors/vendors to deliver niche and innovative solutions with a balance of staff and contract personnel
  • Arrange for appropriate training and assignment for the project teams

What You'll Need

  • SAP S4HANA implementation experience with cross functional knowledge
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in large global organizations (1,000+ employees)
  • Minimum 5 years in a related industry (i.e. Steel, recycling, process manufacturing, warehousing)
  • 5-7 years of experience managing programs and projects
  • 3-5 years’ experience in managing IT and/or end user training preferred
  • Experience developing and managing budgets
  • Strong experience in the Application integration architecture, solution design and development using SOA/EAI solutions
  • Experience managing On Premise application integration and Cloud-to-On Premise integration using various platforms/tools
  • Proficiency in Agile development life cycle and waterfall delivery methods
  • A distinctive blend of business, IT, financial and communication skills
  • Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources may not be in direct control of this role
  • Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning and execution skills
  • Strong business acumen, including industry, domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units
  • Understanding of current and emerging technologies and how other enterprises are employing them to drive digital business
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic resource plan
  • Thorough knowledge of and ability to use personal computers and software, including Microsoft PowerPoint®, Excel, Project, and SAP
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
