The Talent Acquisition Manager will sit on the Talent Management Leadership Team and report to the Director of Talent Management. This individual will develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract, engage, and retain top talent across diverse domestic geographies and functions (Operations, Sales, Maintenance, Engineering, HR, Finance, etc.) for CMC. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership capabilities, communication skills, and a strong business acumen. 

What You'll Do

  • Lead a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists to include providing coaching, training and support to drive performance and development.
  • Establish clear expectations and KPIs for the recruiting team, continuously measuring and improving performance against recruitment goals.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify and understand hiring needs and create a recruitment strategy that aligns to the needs.
  • Identify, prioritize and lead initatives to create a world class full-cycle hiring experience.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage top talent through various channels including social media, direct outreach, professional associations, and more.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to continuously improve our recruiting function.
  • Create and facilitate internal training as needed with relation to recruiting processes and technology.
  • Identify, engage, and nurture a diverse talent pool of potential candidates including passive job seekers, industry professionals, and upcoming graduates.

What You'll Need

  • Highly organized with a focus on details and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
  • Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams
  • Self-motivated with ability to prioritize, manage a large workload, and effectively manage change in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer facing skills with ability to build effective relationships across the business required
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to influence and foster relationships with peers, external vendors, and business leaders.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment law as related to talent acquisition
  • 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition in a multi-state, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form are necessary to be successful in this role
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams

Your Education

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required. Equivalent experience and skills can be a substituted for education.
