What You'll Do

Estimating fabricated rebar and accessories in the geographical construction market.
Thoroughly reviewing construction documents (blueprints and specifications).
Calculating quantities using estimating software to develop estimates and bid proposals.
Communicating with customers in relation to the projects bidding.
Collaborating with the sales team to support the area and regional strategy.
Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

Minimum 2 years of rebar sales and estimating, rebar detailing or placing experience
Understanding of drawings and building practices/standards specific to geographical requirements.
Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
Must be able to perform mathematical calculations
Proficient computer skills in the following programs: Microsoft Office Suite, aSa Estimating, and OnScreen Takeoff

Your Education

High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor or Associate Degree preferred
