What You'll Do
- Maintain & manage SAP price files
- Work with buyers to manage PAR screens
- Help set and update Retail pricing
- Prep for monthly sales requests by pulling data for forecast: current inventory, daily purchases, etc. (Red Metals, Aluminum & Ferrous)
- Follow up with 104 to ensure the plant receives the requested sales
- Manage Evolve for the commercial team
- Manage STO process (shipping & receiving yards) to ensure accuracy of pricing and weights
- Build monthly customer reports
- Assist Marketing Manager and Buyers as needed
- Work with Commercial Team to learn commercial best practices and commercial discipline
- Assist commercial team with account reviews for smaller accounts or high cost / low weight accounts
- Review transportation reports to identify accounts that need buyer attention
- Assist with month end business review
- Retro Pricing
- Release tickets to the back office
- Pull purchase volumes for TAG Commercial Growth accounts that require MIGO transfers to validate upgrades
What You'll Need
- 1-3 years business or operations experience (can include intern experience)
- Entry-level work experience in people or project supervision, sales, operations, and/or customer service is a plus
- Leadership skills in professional, educational, and/or social experiences
- Buying/selling skill and product knowledge
- Ability and willingness to work in all areas of the business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Sense of teamwork as well as independent initiative required
- Must be able to travel within assigned region and other areas as needed
- Must have effective listening and verbal skills to identify important information and to engage with internal and external customers
- SAP experience preferred
