What You'll Do
- Produce post-tension drawings that conform to industry and company standards while providing accurate and detailed list of materials for shop fabrication
- Assist with the research of detailing, fabrication, and field problems
- Coordinate with the customer and scheduling personnel to schedule material deliveries; to include accounting for any changes in scope of work
- Capable of managing multiple project designs, scopes, budgets, and installations
- Collaborate with the engineer/vendor and construction professionals to ensure feasibility of project
- Conduct meetings as needed with engineers, vendors, stakeholders and contractors
- Create the schedule for each project and match talent to the job
- Coordinate development of project procedures manual and work plan
- Creative thinking and problem solving abilities
- Ensure direction, completion, and financial outcome of construction projects from initial budget through project closeout, managing costs, and maximizing profitability
- Interact with customers based on any project changes
- Liaison between customers and internal departments
What You'll Need
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Post Tension Detailing or Reinforcing Steel while using Computer aided design (AutoCAD); Knowledge of Rebar/Post Tension cable industrial preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend construction specifications and drawings drafting experience
- Excellent customer service including follow through, Time management, Planning/organization and prioritizing
- Proficient in MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Bluebeam
Your Education
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Or Industry experience equivalence
- A combination of formal education and/or directly related work experience may substitute for the degree.
