Dependent on experience, education and certifications the estimated annual salary for the position is between $135,000 and $150,000. 

Professional Engineer’s license is required for this role.

This position requires up to 100% travel, relocation is not required.

What You'll Do

  • Makes timely and sound decisions; uses resources wisely
  • Displays a positive, can-do attitude; maintains composure when faced with difficult situations
  • Review power quality studies and provide solutions to address flicker, harmonics, and voltage stability
  • Design, size and safely implement low and medium voltage power systems."
  • Electrical Engineer will join the corporate Engineering, Technology, and Innovation team where they will be responsible for design, project, and construction management of small to large industrial projects throughout organization
  • Areas of work to include development of functional/performance specifications for electrical distribution and process control equipment/systems, low and medium voltage system design, high voltage power system knowledge, fiber optic and networking design.
  • Assist with switchgear and breaker coordination setup incorporating load factor in the design
  • Ensure that installations and applications are in line with governing codes including NEC and NFPA.
  • Complete designs and provide value engineering
  • Administration and surveillance of the construction quality assurance program

What You'll Need

  • Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Experienced with field work and understanding the customer's needs
  • History of meeting established target dates for projects
  • Ability to work with in project scope and budget
  • Registered professional engineer with active license, in good standing
  • Experience working on fast-track projects
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form are necessary to be successful in this role
  • Team player, detail oriented, and organized
  • Proficiency with computer operating systems, to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Requires basic IT skills including networking design and maintenance, PC structure, and standard office software skills.

Your Education

  • Technology, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering college or university
