What You'll Do

  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
  • Estimates and schedules for multidisciplinary projects
  • Implements mechanical design and coordination work as required
  • Oversees project construction activities and coordinates project implementation activities with plant operating departments
  • Performs constructability reviews and improvement analysis
  • Project Management, Estimating, and Scheduling of multi-discipline projects
  • Provides engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and other required technical documentation
  • Provides engineering technical support as required to enable the operation to produce a quality product within budget that meets or exceeds customer expectations and supports the business strategies and goals of the mill division, CMCA and CMC

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 5 plus years of industrial design and field construction experience
  • Must be able to read and interpret mechanical prints and diagrams
  • Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint; Proficient with AutoCAD 2016 or later
  • Have a strong background with technical writing to be able to write documents for operations and maintenance, explaining new or modified equipment
  • History of meeting established target dates for projects
  • Ability to work within project scope and budget

Your Education

  • 4-Year ABET Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • Certificate of Engineering in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) Preferred
