What You'll Do

  • Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
  • Completes special projects as assigned by their manager, to include analysis and change continuous improvement recommendations as requested
  • Participates in team meetings and activities
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Assists with the implementation of human resources procedures and processes May answer and direct calls, greet team members, and responds to team member inquiries and requests for information
  • Attend business unit and corporate HR team meetings to gain exposure to the broader field of Human Resources
  • Ensure positive employee relations and build the CMC culture based on our Guiding Principles
  • Identify and communicate general issues and concerns to the HR Manager and participate in solving such issues
  • Responsible for day-to-day transactions such as processing new hires and employee data changes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of information entered in the system
  • Assist with general administrative tasks
  • Assist with HR processes by providing analysis and customer support
  • Assist with Talent Acquisition process for hourly employees
  • Support the business strategy through managing and updating HR data, as well as project management work

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, lift, kneel, squat, crawl and reach
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Your Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Currently pursuing a degree in a related field at an accredited university
