What You'll Do
- Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely and effectively.
- Properly adjusts conveyor speeds for different product lengths/product changes; reacts/responds quickly/appropriately to cobbles, controls, crop/nose cut, recycles shears, and adjusts shear cuts
- Ability to perform measurements with tape measures/calipers, etc
- Evaluating finished projects and performing quality checks
- Operate cutting torch for operational needs
- Ability to adhere to CMC safety policies and procedures
- Assist department in meeting safety, production, and quality goals
- Attend all safety meetings and actively participate in the safety programs
What You'll Need
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift which may include weekend and holiday
- Some overtime will be required
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with excellent strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Must be able to learn quickly and multitask
- Ability to work in extreme heat
- Ability to stand for duration of a shift, up to 12 hours; frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs or reaching to work with equipment throughout the entire shift
Your Education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
