What You'll Do

  • Issue and receive materials and tools
  • Stock materials and conduct accurate inventory control reviews
  • Prepare, retrieve, and disassemble repair kits in support of the Maintenance Department down days
  • Provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers
  • Work safely to prevent on the job injuries by following safety rules and regulations at all times including proper wearing of company PPE
  • Responsible for daily housekeeping duties including but not limited to immediate work area
  • Demonstrates dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs
  • Audit and analyze inventory
  • Assist Planners in identifying the necessary parts, time and tools needed to perform a task
  • Maintain close interaction with Maintenance and Storeroom teams and other cross-functional business teams to understand scope of internal needs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines, maintain a professional demeanor in all situations, and commitment to excellent customer services at all times
  • Conduct cycle counts and project adjustment to assist Inventory management processes

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a warehouse or similar environment
  • Ability to identify hand tools, parts, and materials
  • Basic computer skills required (outlook, excel, word, etc)
  • SAP inventory experience preferred
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift which may include weekends and holiday
  • Ability to position and climb ladders to access elevated stock locations
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for duration of a shift, up to 12 hours; frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs or reaching to work with equipment throughout the entire shift
  • Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces
  • Strong communication skills required. Must read, speak and understand English language in verbal and written communication

Your Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
