What You'll Do
- Exercise judgement when troubleshooting AC/DC motor controls, Allen Bradley, ABB and Siemens PLC’s, ABB and Allen Bradley electrical drives, and all medium voltage systems
- Install, monitor, inspect, troubleshoot, and ensure reliability of all electrical, electronic control systems and components, process equipment, and AC/DC utilities
- Perform troubleshooting and repair or replacement of defective and damaged parts
- Participate in major failure incident investigations in area of responsibility
- Performs necessary maintenance tasks including repair or replacement of damaged parts, adjustments and calibration procedures, assemble, install, test and execute preventative maintenance tasks on various forms of manufacturing equipment
- Provides technical assistance to maintenance and production personnel as needed
- Service the electrical aspect of pumps, motors, cranes, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems as needed
- Works with related diagnostic equipment including digital voltmeter, paper recorder, multi-volt meter, oscilloscope, and other electronic tools and equipment
- Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
What You'll Need
- Minimum 5 years of heavy industrial electrical maintenance experience
- Experience with Allen Bradley, ABB, AC/DC motor and/or other PLC troubleshooting
- Experience or formal education and lab training on PLCs, or the ability to navigate block logic, ladder logic, or other digital logic interfaces
- Industrial experience with installation and maintaining PLC's, VFD's, HMI's, instrumentation, plant networks, servers, and related equipment
- Demonstrate good mechanical aptitude
