What You'll Do
- Embodies and reinforces CMC's culture, Guiding Principles, Safety, and policies/procedures
- Diagnose and resolve issues with dies, sheet extrusion, poly propylene, HDPE, compounding and other related equipment, that affect production quality.
- Perform adjustments, repairs, rebuilds and preventative maintenance on dies and related equipment.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including quality control, engineering and production, to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain records of die maintenance, repairs, and modifications.
- Implement corrective actions as needed to resolve quality issues stemming from die performance.
What You'll Need
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with extrusion dies in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with hands-on experience in extrusion die, sheet extrusion and other related equipment, troubleshooting and repair.
- Knowledge of extrusion processes and materials, especially as it pertains to plastics, or, other materials relevant to production.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
- Must be flexible to work on call or overtime based on business needs.
Your Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
