What You'll Do

  • Adheres to the daily compliance of all plant, corporate, OSHA, EPA, safety, and housekeeping policies to prevent safety hazards, increase equipment longevity and improve productivity
  • Assists the Maintenance planner/coordinator in all aspects of CMMS data entry and tracking related to maintenance and storeroom tasks. Verifies on hand availability of spare parts related to planned work orders and preventative maintenance scheduling
  • Storeroom responsibilities includes daily maintenance and organizationakeeping accurate records, preventing stock-outs, improving organization and facilitating maintenance processes. Store room is responsible for maintaining production materials.
  • Performs tasks to compile records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, checking, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Compiles data from sources, such as CMMS, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports and enters information into computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records.
  • Keeps back order file in established sequence and releases back orders for issue.
  • Prepares requisitions, orders, or other documents for purchasing or requisitioning new or additional stock items. Contacts vendors to build quotes as needed
  • Compares nomenclature, stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, parts lists, and similar references to verify accuracy of requisitions and shipping orders.
  • Maintains and improves organization of storeroom inventory
  • Coordinates part repair / rebuilds
  • Maintains the order and organization of the maintenance storage area on the mezzanine and warehouse.
  • Maintains minimum order quantities in the storeroom

  • 3 years experience with inventory control in warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • SAP experience is a plus

Your Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
