What You'll Do

Executes all assigned maintenance work. Work includes preventive maintenance, urgent maintenance, routine maintenance, or other duties as assigned.
Responsible for completing required reports and documentation including parts usage and work orders.
Responsible for the daily compliance of all plant, corporate, OSHA, EPA, safety, and housekeeping policies.
Troubleshoots, repair and maintain plant equipment as directed. Perform other tasks as assigned.
Respond to start up or trouble alarms
Responsible for all company tools and equipment.
Sort and organize tool groove block shims, all storage draws
Complete shadow boards in drawers for tooling interchanges
Maintain tool handling rigs & cleaning
Preform PM’s/Inspections on all press tools
Participate in all Press PM’s when available
Ensure that tool set ups are completed on time to meet production schedule demand
Assist with setup and sharpening of all tools as available
Inspect tools as they come out of the press and document findings
Perform Nitrodyne pressure tests on tools prior to installation and document results
Update Tooling Status Board for all to see
Determine back up tools and have them ready.
Maintain tooling dashboard “real time” (What’s running, backups and on-deck)
Rebuild Nitrodyne cylinders (only as needed)
Test rebuilt Nitrodyne cylinders (only as needed)

What You'll Need

Must be able to lift 75 pounds, climb ladders and steps, work outside under all weather conditions when needed
Must be able to perform the physical task of the job assigned; to include climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
Ability to operate hand tools

Your Education

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
2 Year technical degree, certificate or comparable training preferred
