What You'll Do
- Executes all assigned maintenance work. Work includes preventive maintenance, urgent maintenance, routine maintenance, or other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for completing required reports and documentation including parts usage and work orders.
- Responsible for the daily compliance of all plant, corporate, OSHA, EPA, safety, and housekeeping policies.
- Troubleshoots, repair and maintain plant equipment as directed. Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Respond to start up or trouble alarms
- Responsible for all company tools and equipment.
- Sort and organize tool groove block shims, all storage draws
- Complete shadow boards in drawers for tooling interchanges
- Maintain tool handling rigs & cleaning
- Preform PM’s/Inspections on all press tools
- Participate in all Press PM’s when available
- Ensure that tool set ups are completed on time to meet production schedule demand
- Assist with setup and sharpening of all tools as available
- Inspect tools as they come out of the press and document findings
- Perform Nitrodyne pressure tests on tools prior to installation and document results
- Update Tooling Status Board for all to see
- Determine back up tools and have them ready.
- Maintain tooling dashboard “real time” (What’s running, backups and on-deck)
- Rebuild Nitrodyne cylinders (only as needed)
- Test rebuilt Nitrodyne cylinders (only as needed)
What You'll Need
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds, climb ladders and steps, work outside under all weather conditions when needed
- Must be able to perform the physical task of the job assigned; to include climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
- Ability to operate hand tools
Your Education
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
- 2 Year technical degree, certificate or comparable training preferred
