What You'll Do

  • Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulations
  • Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
  • Conserves maintenance resources by efficiently using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
  • Possess proficient skills utilizing hand tools, power tools and precision tools for performing all facets of the repair and maintenance process
  • Repair and maintain shop machinery and mechanical equipment including overhead cranes, shears, benders, threaders, forges, induction heaters, and welders
  • Repair engine failures, mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, body repair and replacing parts and components
  • Operates and trobuleshoots issues with mobile equipment: loaders, forklifts, trucks and other equipment
  • Services machinery and mechanical equipment by completing repairs on engines, hydraulics systems, mobile and stationary equipment

What You'll Need

  • At least two years of heavy equipment experience
  • Able to troubleshoot and repair engines, transmissions, gearboxes, hydraulics, electrical, and pneumatic systems on various types of equipment. (Material handlers, loaders, excavators, forklifts).
  • Complete all paperwork for repairs and identify all parts needed to conduct current and future repairs.
  • Experienced with industrial mechanical repairs and knowledgeable about hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Safety oriented person with leadership skills to perform maintenance duties in a team environment and ability to work alone with little or no supervision
  • Must be able to communicate technically, orally and written.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, layout projects, locate prints and use maintenance technical manuals.
  • Must be able to use a computer
  • Welding knowledge a plus but not a requirement
  • Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and business leaders
  • Great organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to deal with uncertainty and work with or without supervision
  • Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with high energy level.
  • Must have valid drivers' license.

Your Education

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
