What You'll Do

Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulations
Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
Conserves maintenance resources by efficiently using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
Possess proficient skills utilizing hand tools, power tools and precision tools for performing all facets of the repair and maintenance process
Repair and maintain shop machinery and mechanical equipment including overhead cranes, shears, benders, threaders, forges, induction heaters, and welders
Repair engine failures, mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, body repair and replacing parts and components
Operates and trobuleshoots issues with mobile equipment: loaders, forklifts, trucks and other equipment
Services machinery and mechanical equipment by completing repairs on engines, hydraulics systems, mobile and stationary equipment

What You'll Need

At least two years of heavy equipment experience
Able to troubleshoot and repair engines, transmissions, gearboxes, hydraulics, electrical, and pneumatic systems on various types of equipment. (Material handlers, loaders, excavators, forklifts).
Complete all paperwork for repairs and identify all parts needed to conduct current and future repairs.
Experienced with industrial mechanical repairs and knowledgeable about hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic equipment.
Safety oriented person with leadership skills to perform maintenance duties in a team environment and ability to work alone with little or no supervision
Must be able to communicate technically, orally and written.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, layout projects, locate prints and use maintenance technical manuals.
Must be able to use a computer
Welding knowledge a plus but not a requirement
Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and business leaders
Great organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
Basic math skills
Ability to deal with uncertainty and work with or without supervision
Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with high energy level.
Must have valid drivers' license.

Your Education

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
