What You'll Do

Assign drivers and vehicles based on delivery needs and production schedules.
Prepare loading lists, shipping documentation, and delivery directions.
Plan and optimize routes and loads to ensure cost-effective and timely operations.
Monitor weather and traffic conditions and communicate updates to drivers as needed.
Communicate with drivers, production, sales, and customer service teams regarding delivery updates, delays, and project requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and address customer inquiries.
Contact customers to confirm or adjust delivery schedules.
Assist with pickup orders and maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery logs, and transportation activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and safety standards.
Process DOT-related reports and support general office functions as needed.

What You'll Need

Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive problem-solver.
Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience with ERP or dispatch software (e.g., Titan) preferred.
Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of DOT regulations, transportation procedures, and safety standards a plus.

Your Education

High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
2+ years of dispatch, logistics, or transportation experience preferred.
Experience in manufacturing, precast, or construction industries a plus.
