What You'll Do

  • Act as a communicator for the supervisor and the crew
  • Act on behalf of the supervisor in relation to production activities of crew to ensure that work is being done safely and as scheduled
  • Work safely to prevent on the job injuries by following safety rules and regulations at all times including proper wearing of company PPE
  • Follow instructions of the supervisor to lead the crew in various aspects of the production process, such as safety, bundle stacking, paperwork, furnace operations, etc

What You'll Need

  • Excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal form are necessary to be successful in this role
  • Requires experience and understanding of the industrial environment, specifically in heat treating and converting high quality steel for the purpose of creating a strength-to-weight ratio that meets the standards of our customers
  • The ability to build relationships as a leader and as a team member to management is essential
  • The ability to perform basic computer functions through Microsoft Office Suite is also a requirement

Your Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
